Have a heart for halow and be part of our #lovehalow campaign
Our Love halow campaign is currently in full swing and Hector has been busy showing his love to our young people and halow supporters.

The Building Futures Group got into the fundraising spirit by asking the local businesses of Guildford to take a box of halow pin badges to sell. The Crafty Creations Group also got involved by creating special thank you cards to send to some of our special halow supporters for Valentines Day.

It's not too late to get involved in our Love halow campaign, find out more here.

Building Futures - new year, new opportunities!

Our Building Futures groups have had some great new opportunities recently.

Our Year A have volunteered with 'Joining In' in the local community, had a 'behind the scenes' tour of the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, and had an acting class led by a fellow halow young person.

Our Year B have visited 'Wild Wood', had an outdoor learning session, a life skills session on budgeting with Barclays, supported the 'love halow' campaign by raising awareness of halow in local shops and volunteered at 'Surrey Soup' (pictured), winning for their pitch to the public about halow!
Tickets are now on sale for the Annual Party 2016!

We would like to invite all halow supporters, parents and young people to our Annual Party on Friday 31st March 2017.  Every year it remains the highlight of our social calendar and this year will be the best yet, with energetic live music, a raffle and a disco.

Tickets £10 per person (cost includes food). Click here to book tickets

A Reason to Get Up is pleased to be able to offer this brand new activity focussed around the food we eat. Cook and Grow  sessions will help young people understand where food comes from, how it is grown, nutrition, the benefits of growing your own food and even creative ways to cook fun and tasty recipes that everyone can enjoy!

The halow 250 "Big Bicycle Bake Off!"
Get baking for our ‘BIG Bicycle Bake Off!’ in support of the halow250, and host a coffee morning throughout March.

We will be encouraging offices, schools and the local community to get involved and create cycling themed bakes and cakes. Of course in the spirit of the Great British Bake off, we will be looking for our ‘star baker’ who will receive a small prize!

Get in touch with us if your interested in hosting a BIG Bicycle Bake Off for the halow project.
