Welcome back South Shore.
Prom. Prom is quickly approaching on May 5th at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, and prom tickets will be going on sale next week! Tickets are $65 each, and a deposit of $35 is required to secure your ticket. Ticket will be sold only to seniors for the first two weeks, and then opened to juniors. See Mrs. Bateman or Ms. Glass with any questions, and see you at our Enchantment Under the Sea Prom, soon!
Important Message for Students: Mr. Mahoney's Block 2 & Block 3 classes will be held in rm 114 today. Automotive 11th grade will be in RM 119 during block 4 today.

Congratulations to Azaiah Caparotta of the wrestling team, who went 1-1 in his 2 matches in the MIAA Divisional State tournament.
Congratulations to the girls basketball team, who finished its season last week with a thrilling 38-36 win over Southeastern in overtime. Rory Sneyd scored the game winning basket with 1.5 seconds left in the game. She also forced overtime with a basket in the final 10 seconds of regulation. Senior Cassidy Burt led all scorers with 14 points in the final game of her career.
There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing lacrosse this spring tomorrow at 2:30 in Graphics.
The countdown to spring sports has begun! Practices and tryouts begin 3 weeks from today. Any students interested in playing a sport need to sign up on the school website. The signup link is located on the athletics page. If you already signed up for a spring sport when registering for fall or winter you do not need to do it again. Athletes also need to make sure their physicals are up to date in the nurse’s office and complete the concussion test and Impact testing if they haven’t played a sport previously this year.
