BEGINNING POINTE CAMP – JULY 17-28

This camp is a required prerequisite to beginning fall 2017 as a DAG pointe student. DAG will schedule an individual appointment prior to the beginning of this camp with each rising Intermediate Coral student at The Sock Basket with one of our instructors to have an individual pointe shoe fitting. During the two week Monday-Friday camp the dancers will learn proper care of their shoes and feet. They will have instructions in sewing ribbons and elastic on pointe shoes as well as begin taking class en pointe. These students will supplement their camp experience with classes in jazz in addition to ballet and pointe technique. Dancers will need to bring a snack each day along with a water bottle.

Minimum Age is 10

Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 1:00pm

Campers will need to wear tights, a leotard and ballet shoes.

The fee for this camp is $325 per child.

Dancers will prepare a small performance for parents and guests on Friday, 07/28 at 12:15pm.
