Open All Hours
We are getting ready to open our doors even wider and for longer here at Just Drop-In! With extended opening hours, new services and increased capacity all around the corner, it’s a vibrant and exciting time.

Changes in a nutshell
  • New streamlined opening times for our Drop-In Information and Support – Monday to Saturday 2-5pm
  • Extended Counselling provision including Saturdays and an extra late evening
  • Increased provision for under 18 year olds with our Early Help and Friendship Groups, Foundations, running three times a week
Our New Timetable
Commenting on the new changes, Ann Wright, Just Drop-In Manager said,

“We are planning our future services with enthusiasm and confidence because we know our approach is firmly grounded on feedback from young people and based on local need. We want to provide the right services at the right times for young people and we know these changes will help us to achieve this”.
Focus on Foundations
Our new Foundations are based on the Thursday Club Pilot we have been running over the last 12 months.
Foundations will provide a safe, informal and happy space for young people to access early help and make new friendships.
Our current group has a growing waiting list so it’s fantastic to be able to meet demand by adding two new groups a week.

With sincere thanks to Children in Need whose three year financial support has made these developments possible.
Up & Running: Phase 2
Phase two of our Up & Running project has now kicked off in style with our weekly winter training camp sessions well under way. A small group of staff, volunteers and young people meet every Tuesday 5-6pm at Macclesfield Performance for progressive exercise sessions that combine circuits, HIIT, strength training and other fun and popular techniques of exercise.
One young person comments "I'm getting fitter & meeting new people at the same time!"
If you know anyone aged 16-25, who wants to join in with our free, fun and professionally led fitness sessions then get in touch with Faye Ronan at hello@justdropin.co.uk
Change of Chairman
Just Drop-In Chairman, Bruce Taylor (pictured below left) has come to the end of his term after directing the service from strength to strength.
“It has been my great pleasure to be Chairman for the past three years. Thank you to the staff, trustees and volunteers for their professionalism, considerable effort and dedication in meeting the demand of the young people we support".
John Stephens (pictured right) has been involved with Just Drop-In for over five years now and will take over as Chairman from April.

“It’s a privilege to be taking over as Chair of Trustees.  It’s a wonderful chance to contribute to the great work of Just Drop-In and continue working with such a dedicated and able group of staff, trustees, volunteers and young people”.
Three hours to spare?
Due to our expansion of services on offer for young people aged 12-25 we are currently looking for enthusiastic members of the community to join our team of volunteers.
Our Drop-In Service runs Monday to Saturday in the afternoon and evenings, and aims to provide a safe, welcoming environment for young people aged 12 -25. If you would like more information on how to become a volunteer, get in touch with Faye Ronan at hello@justdropin.co.uk
