Chester Tuffnut isn’t your ordinary treemole – in fact he is one of a kind! Chester likes wearing jumpers and sitting in his armchair, but most of all he loves adventure! Told with puppets, original music and imaginative antics, this show is full of humour, thrills, spills, near misses and great escapes.

A Real Alien Adventure

A rip-roaring, intergalactic space adventure. Join intrepid explorer Amelia Buttersnap on an intergalactic mission to find out if aliens really do exist. Can Amelia rescue her cat and save the planet from alien destruction? And how do you drink a cup of tea in space? Following on from the success of A Real Mermaid’s Tale, this is an engaging and fun show for all the family, full of home-made gadgets, magic and shadow play.

Friends For All
Sat 11 Mar | 11am & 2pm (sold out)
Ages 5-11
8 year old Lexi doesn’t make friends as easily as some. If only her school would allow a non-school uniform day then she could be herself. Inspired by Grandad’s hippy stories from the swinging 60s, she decides to fight the powers that be, namely her class teacher Mr Marsh and the class bully, Suzy. Friends for All is an interactive spoken word performance for families, with rapping, dancing and far-out video projections.

Stages of Josie Lawrence
Stages of Half Moon, our digital archive of theatre history, is packed with photos, videos and interviews from our 45 year history. This week we're highlighting a video interview with one of our new patrons, Josie Lawrence, who shares her experience of maintaining the wardrobe during Dracula, with starred Daniel Day Lewis. Josie is currently in rehearsals at the Birmingham Rep for Eugene Ionesco's Amédée. The show opens on Friday and we're sending huge break a leg wishes. Have a great opening night!
