All ladies, spouses and family members are invited to a NEWLY Combined Meet and Greet on Sunday, February 26th to welcome Isaiah Charles Pierre born February 18, 2017 to Sonja & Charles Pierre, along with Isaiah Haven Eby, born to Annette & Jonathan Eby on Dec.7, 2016.
This will still be a come and go event and will be held in the Fireside Room from 2-4 pm.
Please note:

  • Please note this is also a Farewell gathering for the Pierre Family who will be relocating to Calgary in early March
  • If looking to gift to Isaiah Pierre; gift cards and/or monetary gift would be easier and greatly appreciated given their upcoming move. They look forward to seeing and celebrating with you all before they depart.
  • In lieu of any gift you may have been planning to give to Isaiah Eby, the Eby's are asking that you instead consider contributing to a mission close to their heart. A collection basket for this will be available at the Meet & Greet.

HOLY SPIRIT ENCOUNTER: March 3-5, 2017 at Estevan Alliance Church

Ephesians 5:18b says "...be filled with the Holy Spirit." That is what this weekend is about.
I hope that everyone can come out on the Friday Night. I believe in many ways this will give you the best picture of what the weekend will have in store. Even if you cannot commit to the whole weekend let us know if you can make it out on Friday and come to a time of worship and drawing near to God as we seek to encounter His Spirit afresh in our lives.

On Saturday there will be more training and practice and worship as we seek the Holy Spirit together. This day is to be taken as a whole and unfortunately does not work well if you can only make part of it. We are looking to see if we need to provide child care so please let us know if you are coming (and if you need this service) and we are also planning to arrange for food over the lunch break so we need approximate numbers.

Sunday service of course is for everyone, and it is certainly a service you don't want to miss!

If you have any questions about the weekend please don't hesitate to ask.

You can sign-up by following this link - https://www.facebook.com/events/209926022812188/ or by calling the office.

Missions Focus
Sea to Sea – Join the Defend Dignity team in prayer on Sunday, February 26 at the "Shining the Light of Prayer on Sexual Exploitation" event, that will be live-streamed at defenddignity.ca from 6-7:30pm (CST).
Pray that Canada will see an end to sexual exploitation!

The Global Advance Fund (GAF) covers the costs of sending and supporting international workers (IWs) overseas—salaries, benefits, and the costs associated with ministry in various countries. Some is designated to strengthen the sending base, to train IWs. Through the GAF, IWs take the Gospel to least-reached people groups, people who may never have heard the name Jesus.

Did you know? The C&MA focuses specifically on sending the Gospel to least-reached people groups (LRPGs)?
• 41% of IWs are serving in creative access countries, places where people may be imprisoned or otherwise persecuted for sharing their faith.
• 40.4% of the world is least-reached! There are still more than 6,000 LRPGs.
• Together, we are bringing the Gospel to people with very little access to it.

Thank you for your faithfulness in praying and giving on mission!
