Final Table Readings at Lawson McGhee Library

Join us this Saturday and Sunday for the final table readings of this year's festival! FREE admission. Each reading will include a discussion session afterwards with the cast, director and audience and the playwright.

Auditions

Auditions for Shakespeare on the Square 2017 will be held on Saturday, March 4 from 1 – 3:00 PM and Sunday, March 5 from 1 – 5:00 PM, at the Emporium Building, 100 S. Gay Street. These auditions are by appointment only. Please prepare two contrasting monologues (tragic and comedic, from a classical script) of no more than one minute each. Singing proficiency preferred. If you wish to be part of the band, please prepare a short a cappella piece (verse + chorus) as part of your audition.

New Adult Acting Classes!

Affordable, flexible theatre classes for adults (aged 16+).

Open level classes offered Sundays from 3:00-5:00 PM, March 5 to 26, at A1 LabArts Studio, 23 Emory Place. The fee for the entire series of four classes is just $50, or $15 for each class. Pre-registration preferred, but drop-ins are welcome!
