The Aboriginal Sport, Recreation and Physical Activity Partners Council (Partners Council) is seeking qualified individuals from across BC to fill vacancies in Team BC's volunteer staff for the 2017 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC) held May 1 to May 7, 2017 in Cowichan, British Columbia.
Team BC is accepting applications for the roles of Team Trainers and Team Managers. There will be one Team Manager and one Team Trainer for the Male team and one Team Manager and one Team Trainer for the Female team. While these are volunteer opportunities, travel expenses will be covered. The Provincial Aboriginal Hockey Committee will oversee the selection process for the successful candidates for these volunteer positions.

National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC)
The NAHC is the premier forum for elite bantam and midget-age Aboriginal hockey players from across Canada. It is the only national annual event that showcases and celebrates the athletic abilities of Aboriginal athletes from across the country, and aids in fostering cultural unity and pride. Team BC is represented by two teams, one male team and one female team, featuring the top bantam/midget aged players from across the province.
