Three ways to find housing for next year


1. Come to the Housing Kick-Off. Tuesday, March 7, 5-8 p.m. in the MU Lounge. You can learn about our on-campus sophomore and above housing options for next year, get free food, and meet potential roommates. Everyone who attends will automatically get priority status for room selection, and the first 150 will get FREE portable chargers!

2. Tour on-campus housing in person. Have you ever seen the apartment-style housing in Halsell Hall? How about the beautiful kitchens, lounges, and three-bedroom suites in Tebeau? Tour sophomore and above communities Fridays from noon-2 on March 3, 10, and 17. Learn more.

3. Take a virtual tour. If you can't make it to an in-person tour, check out our new 360 virtual tours! uhds.link/360tours

Managing your Dining Dollars just got easier


Find it challenging to monitor your UHDS dining plan spending? We've got a new tool for you!

We've introduced a new feature to your MyUHDS! Now when you log in to MyUHDS you'll see a visual graph of your dining plan spending history, along with your daily spending target amount. Use it to track your daily spending, and adjust your plan to best suit your needs. Top three reasons to enroll in summer classes

Did you know? The top three reasons OSU students enroll in summer classes are:
1. To stay on track for graduation
2. To graduate early
3. To lighten their course load for next year

What's your reason? Whether it's the ability to pay in-state tuition* for summer classes or the flexible class sessions ranging from one week to 11 weeks, there are many reasons to enroll in classes on campus this summer.

Recycle Mania Hall Challenge graphic

Help take back the title: RecycleMania Civil War results are in!

RecycleMania is an eight-week national and Civil War recycling competition between universities, which runs through April 1. Currently, UO has a lead, but there's plenty of time to catch up!

Now through the end of this week, recycle in your hall to win Inter-Hall Challenge points and contribute to the Civil War! See results on the Hall Challenge webpage.

  • Friday, Feb. 24, 9 p.m. - midnight: After Dark, Harry Potter Night. Come to After Dark for a night of Harry Potter fun! There will be quidditch, DIY wands, Harry Potter trivia, free food and prizes. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them will show at 8 p.m. Learn more.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 28, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Mardi Gras at Southside Station. Join us February 28 at Southside Station @ Arnold for a Mardi Gras Culinary Exploration. Sample Southern-inspired cuisine, decorate cookies, and visit our photo booth with costumes. All free while supplies last.
  • Saturday, March 11, 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: 11th annual Empty Bowls event. Please join OSU Anthropology and UHDS for a night of great food, art & music as we promote sustainable food systems & fight food insecurity. McNary Dining Center. Cost: $5-$20 sliding scale. Learn more.
