Migraine Workshop

The Migraine Friendly diet

Want to find out how your diet can help keep migraine under control?

Join nutritional therapist and herbalist Natalia Kerkham to learn how what you eat, and even when you eat it, can have a real impact on your migraine, and how small changes to your diet can have major benefits.

We’ll be looking at

  • trigger foods (coffee, cheese, chocolate and much, much more)
  • eating pattern - when you eat may be as important as what you eat
  • how tweaking the fat content of your diet can help to manage your migraine

Natalia completed a Masters Degree in Nutritional Therapy in 2015 with a research project on links between diet and migraine. She was astonished to find that while there is quite a lot of research out there into all kinds of ways in which diet can be used to manage migraine, neither patients nor their doctors (even specialist neurologists) appeared to be aware of anything beyond the usual ‘avoiding coffee, cheese, chocolate and red wine’ advice. She is now on a mission to promote awareness, by talking to patient groups, healthcare professionals and contributing nutrition articles to national migraine charity Migraine Action’s newsletter for migraine sufferers.
