Governments, donors, humanitarian and development practitioners met on 15 November 2016 in Geneva to unveil an exciting new agenda for child protection in humanitarian action.
Launch >

"We at the Alliance believe that the unprecedented scale of children affected by conflict and natural disaster can only be tackled if the entire child protection sector is technically strong and operationally united.  And this is where we are headed with your support."
Message from
Hani Mansourian, Coordinator of the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action >

The Alliance is reaching out to new organizations. Members benefit from close collaboration with a global network of humanitarian and development professionals, training and funding opportunities, as well as access to a wide range of tools and guidelines to support child protection activities in emergency settings. We are especially keen to hear from local and national organizations who would like to become Core Members and join the Alliance’s Steering Committee.

The 170+ resources have been carefully chosen from a variety of organizations to support practitioners and policymakers, including child protection actors to design and implement strategic options for CAC accountability. If you have a resource that you would like to add to the database, please submit it on the website. Resources are added and updated as they become available.
