Chip and Biggs Speak to the Inmates
Biggs Burke went from multiple lucrative businesses to federal prison for an illegal drug deal. Chip Skowron went from Wall Street to federal prison for insider trading. They met in prison. Biggs (African-American) sought Chip (Caucasian) out for business advice and received more than he anticipated. Chip was unrelenting in sharing Christ and the importance of His leadership and authority over relationships and business deals. Biggs attended Chip’s Bible study and found the One who brings peace--Jesus Christ. Chip and Biggs told their stories at the Forsyth Prison this month. Over 50 inmates and volunteers heard their transparent journey of chasing success that ended with prison time and the beginning of their Christian friendship. The New Canaan Society of Winston-Salem brought Chip and Biggs to the community to encourage many.

But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. Amos 5:24
Today 2.2 million people are in American jails and prisons and 65 million have a criminal record. A small group of jail and prison volunteers met at Reynolda Presbyterian Church to discover more about restorative justice using Prison Fellowship's 6-week course called Outrageous Justice.
