The application to be a 2017 Georgetown Weeks of Welcome (GWOW) Welcome Ambassador is now live! Welcome Ambassadors help enhance students' transition to the Hilltop by participating, planning and leading all of the excitement that GWOW has planned for Fall 2017, such as the Welcome Back Jack Barbecue, Color Run, Taste of the Hilltop, and more!
Encourage your student to get involved today and to make the transition back to campus for new and returning students as seamless and fun as possible!
Last change to sign up for ESCAPE! Our final overnights of the year are March 24th-25th and March 25th-26th. ESCAPE is a retreat program inspired by Ignatian values and open to people of all religious and non-religious identities. ESCAPE is open only to first year students. On the overnight, you will be able to authentically connect with new people, reflect on your own journey, enjoy live music, delicious food, relax, reflect, and take a step back from Life on the Hilltop.
Students will also have the opportunity to hear from members of the Georgetown community including upperclassmen, staff, and faculty. Encourage your student to register today! For more information, go to escape.georgetown.edu or email us at escape@georgetown.edu.
The Care Package program is a great way for parents and families to share their love and support all year long. A care package is the best way to remind your student that Mom and Day are thinking of them on a birthday, holiday and during final exams. A care package says it all.
Each of our care packages are loaded with all of your student's favorite snacks, including fresh baked cakes and cookies, fresh fruit, candy bars and more! The best part is that you can include your own personal note to your student in every package. Don't just show them how much you care, tell them!
