What Are You Giving Up This Lent?
The St. David's Outreach Committee would like to invite you to consider a very special "challenge" during this Lent. It will be an opportunity for young and old, singles, couples, and families to engage in an experience to sharpen our awareness of the challenges that so many in our own community face every single day.

Vote for Your Favorite Saints!
Participate in Lent Madness, a fun, engaging way for adults, children, and teens to learn about the men and women in the calendar of saints.
Much like basketball’s March Madness, 32 saints are placed into a tournament-like single elimination bracket.
Each pairing remains open for a set period of time and people vote for their favorite saint.
16 saints make it to the Round of the Saintly Sixteen; eight advance to the Round of the Elate Eight; four make it to the Faithful Four; two to the Championship; and the winner is awarded the coveted Golden Halo.
Visit
www.lentmadness.org to sign up or “like” the
Lent Madness page on Facebook to participate and vote in this national Episcopal Lenten observance. We’ll also keep a poster of the bracket and “saintly” progress on the bulletin board in the Great Hall.
Meet Our Neighbors at Paul's Place
Volunteers are needed
March 2, 17, and 28. We will meet at church at 9:15 am and return by 1:00 pm. Once there, we will receive our assignments for the morning - serving food, cleaning tables, or helping in the marketplace. Please contact Susie Boutilier at
sbboot@icloud.com if you would like to help.
The Handel Choir of Baltimore joins forces with the Choir of St. David’s for a special on March 3 at 7:30 pm. Directed by Arian Khaefi and Douglas Buchanan, this performance emphasizes the relationship that forms between local audiences, performers, and composers, resulting in a unique musical community defined and inspired by space and place.
This is a ticketed event, part of The Handel Choir's subscription series; St. David's Music Series patrons and St David's parishioners should contact Douglas Buchanan, Director of Music Ministries, for discount ticket information. Tickets may also be purchased at the door or at www.handelchoir.org.
