Curator:
Sean Beauford
Sean Beauford is a Mansfield, Ohio native, working in Pittsburgh as an independent curator, and producer for Kelly Strayhorn Theater. Most of his work revolves around community engagement and speaking to populations that are often overlooked within the arts. Last year he had a full exhibition at the August Wilson Center featuring local and international artists, a pop-up at Ace Hotel, and was named one of WHIRL Magazine's 13 Under 30. Recently he was awarded an Advancing Black Arts grant from The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Heinz Endowments to create a public photo installation in East Liberty that pays tribute to the history of the neighborhood.

Christine Smith
Christine Smith grew up adventuring throughout the bohemian San Francisco Bay Area then moved to culture-soaked Los Angeles to study Art History at UCLA. After moving to Pittsburgh six years ago she started Treading Art to continue her work as a Cultural Curator. She recently launched a membership program, Connect / Collect, that cultivates art collecting through distinguished experiences.

Exhibition Specifics: There is no specific theme.

Selection: Curators will be working with selected artists to source work from each artist's portfolio to be included in the exhibition.
 
Eligibility Requirements: All current members of AAP in good standing are eligible.

Fee: There is no entry fee.
 
Sales: All sales are final with the artists retaining 60%.

Promotion: AAP and the galleries reserve the right to reproduce exhibited artwork for promotion of the exhibits.        
 
Liability: AAP will insure work.
