Honduras Medical Team REPORT

This past week a team of 21 Americans and several nationals spent time providing clinics and medical services to several rural areas of Honduras. Bringing this team to these areas served important physical needs, but it also provided a lasting impact to our Honduran church ministry. The team made huge news locally and they were interviewed by at least one TV station. To have EFM's Honduran churches publicly featured in such a prominent and positive way provides a huge boost to their outreach efforts to spread the Gospel message.

Clinic day 3 was in Sonaguera. It was another very busy day with with 300+ patients. The heat was especially draining with temperatures nearing 100 inside the building where the team was working.

The team ended up in San Luis where it was much cooler. After Clinic day #4, the grand total was 1075 patients seen for the week.

Would you or someone you know like to participate with a medical missions team in the future? Contact us for details on how you might join the team in 2018.
We are thankful to all the members of EFM's 2017 Medical Missions Brigade for their service. They took time off work and paid their own way in order to go.

Thanks to EFM Missionary Daniel Melton and the national team for their preparation, and thanks to everyone who gave to supply the medicine and medical supplies needed. This year was a huge success. To God be the glory!

Continue to pray for the churches working in these communities that the lives that were touched will be effectively evangelized and discipled.
