Crowzone Schedule - 2017
Thanks for being part of the CrowZone family. If you've not tuned in recently you may not be aware of some of our new shows...so here's the current schedule and we hope to see you very soon.
SUNDAY
- 1-2pm: - Classical Hour - a selection of classical tracks to accompany your Sunday lunch. Currently this is an automated presentation
- 2-3pm: Jazz Hour - Smudge presents an hour of mainstream Jazz.
MONDAY
- 7-9pm: Smudge with TimeZones- Focusing on classic tracks, with "Gosh I haven't that in ages", "Three in a row", and "Smudge's long one (repeats Saturday 5pm)
TUESDAY
- 7-9pm: Folk Zone - with Dave. Traditional music with a smattering of French, Irish, Scottish and American, and Dave's legendary "Country Corner" (repeats Sunday 4pm)
- 9-10pm: The Prog Files - 9pm on the first Tuesday of each month, join Adrian for an hour of great Prog Rock, old and new.
- 9-10pm: Matt James on CrowZone - 9pm on the third Tuesday of the month, Matt takes Crowzone to the very best contemporary tracks
WEDNESDAY
- 9-11pm: Mrs.Howe Bizarre - Wednesday 9-11pm. Mrs H likes to play mostly contemporary tracks with the occasional classic rock track (repeats Saturday 12 noon)
- "Radio Bookclub"
Every month Mrs.H dedicates the first hour of her show to reviewing a book we've all been reading. We have a posse of folks in the studio with us and it's always a lively discussion.
THURSDAY
- 8-10pm: Howe Bizarre - with Steve. A tour around the quieter corners of our libraries. (repeats Sunday 11am)
FRIDAY
- 8-9pm: Rock On with Dave - great rock tracks to kick start your weekend (repeats Sunday 8pm)
- 9-10pm: The Midnight Hour - with Midnight Furie. Glitch hop, EDM, Hard dance! (repeats Sunday at 9pm)
We replay all our live shows over the weekends, and some shows get published to Mixcloud (click the REPLAY tab on the homepage).
CHATWING:
We host a really lively chat app on our homepage, you can sign in as a guest or use your Facebook/Twitter login (or even set up your own chatwing logon). It's a great way of getting involved, requesting songs etc.
