Volunteer of the Month
TK Moeke - Turanga Touch

"TK has been involved in Touch, Rugby, League, Waka Ama and Basketball since he moved to Gisborne four years ago. TK saw that there was no pathway for Touch players, and organised the set up of an affiliated TOUCH NZ module, which meant that all players who played in this competition were able to play at a national level.

In 2016 TK ran a touch programme with school aged children to help develop their fundamental movement and touch skills. A year later, 70 children have participated in is programme. TK treats every individual as a professional and volunteers so much of his knowledge and personal time. The kids all respond to him for a reason.

TK, you are an amazing asset to those that you coach, and an invaluable volunteer in our Community."

Congratulations! The monthly winner will receive a $25 voucher from Peppers Beachfront, Sport Maker merchandise, and a volunteer discount card.
