Greetings Friends!
As always, I hope this letter finds you happy, healthy, and feeling loved.
So each month I sit and reflect, thinking about what theme or topic to focus on for the next thirty-ish days. Sometimes I sit in meditation. Sometimes I sit outside and contemplate life. And sometimes I have a subject that is shouting from within and I sit here, staring at my screen, wondering how to kick it all off (this would be one of those days). I just don't always know how to begin. But it never fails...once I get started, it seems like Spirit takes over and helps me to find the right things to ramble on about. Every time. And so, as I sit here, I'm reminded that it simply is a matter of trust...trusting that if I take the first step and start typing, the rest will follow. Which is funny. Because that's exactly what this month's ramble is all about. Trust.
Lately, it's become more and more apparent to me how important trust really plays a role in our lives. Obviously our interpersonal relationships are deeply affected by our levels of trust in one another. Trust plays a huge role in how we relate to our loved ones, our friends, our coworkers, our pets. And lets not get started on the folks that make local, national, and global decisions that impact us and the world. I think it's safe to say that most of us have a pretty good understanding of what it means to trust other people.
trust (noun): firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something
But what about trust in ourselves and our abilities and capabilities...our intuition? Or trust in the Universe....or the Divine order of things?
One thing I've learned in connecting with Spirit is that it takes a tremendous amount of trust to do this sort of work. Trust that Spirit will show up and deliver. Trust that the information coming through will be relevant and accurate. And even with the constant validation, there is always that little voice in my head (my voice, not Spirit's!) that wants to doubt and criticize. But when I have faith in myself, in my ability, and in Spirit....it just works. It's like magic! I believe the same holds true for everyone. Everyone has the ability to connect. You just need to trust.
And what about trusting the Universe? Sometimes it feels as though we are coasting through life and everything feels great. Other times, it seems like we are running into one roadblock after another....one challenge after another. And it just feels like we can't get a break. But eventually, we get back on track and life returns to normal (whatever that is, right?). It's really a series of ups and downs that we are experiencing from the moment we arrive in our bodies to the time we return "home". Many times, we are able to look back at our experiences and can see why things happened the way that they did....because without those challenges, we wouldn't be the amazing beings that we are today. This is why I trust that everything does indeed happen for a reason. And I believe that something bigger than us is at the wheel. I used to believe in coincidences. Now I trust that everything is always happening for my greatest and highest good (even when I don't like it!). And when I remember that, even the tricky stuff is easier to handle.
I also believe that we are brought into each others' lives for a reason. It never fails to amaze me how Spirit brings people into both my personal and professional life....to teach, to learn, to serve, to challenge, to heal, and to love. It's an incredibly orchestrated production where everyone is playing their roles beautifully. It's like a Divine GPS! People find each other when they're supposed to connect and I witness these small miracles every day. I believe Spirit is at work, directing us and putting us in each others' paths to accomplish one thing or another. Trust and believe....we met for a reason!
And I sure am grateful to know you. <3
So here's what's happening at Light Works in March...
On March 12th , we'll be kicking off the month with Meditation with Intention...to Connect with Spirit!. Spend some time learning how to receive loving guidance from the other side. I'll be teaching my method of connecting with the angels, spirit guides, and loved ones...and, yes, anyone can do it :)
Come join us March 16th for Movie Night!, we'll be getting together to watch.... "The Abundance Code". It's a film based on the idea that we are all born with an unlimited wealth of potential within us ...that it just needs to be unlocked! Come hang out with me and other like minded folks for a chill night at the movies ...popcorn provided :)
Join Lolita on March 19th, as she takes you on a self discovery journey at "Meet Your Higher Self Meditation with Lolita!". Explore the place in you that knows what your Soul's plan was for this lifetime.

Also, we have two lovely guest practitioners this month!! Pat Griffith will be @ Light Works on Saturday, March 11th for the day to deliver Healing Messages from Spirit. This is a great opportunity to witness how Spirit works with me to share messages of healing, guidance, and love.
