Needed: Semi Tractor/Driver

Prayer Requests
We've just been informed that CC Old Bridge has a 53' semi-trailer full of tools, generators, etc for disaster relief and they want to donate it to Calvary Relief!

We need a semi-tractor and driver

CC Old Bridge has also graciously offered to cover any reasonable expenses involved in moving the trailer and tools.  The trailer is currently located in Baton Rouge, LA and has to be picked up by March 15th from its current location and then brought to our home church, CC Sarasota in FL.

The trailer is up to date with tires, brakes, safety, license, insurance, etc and will be ready to roll with bill of laden and all paperwork when it is picked up.

If you (or anyone you know) can help with getting the trailer from Baton Rouge to Sarasota, and you are willing to do this at cost, please let us know ASAP.  We are blessed that CC Old Bridge is willing to take care of the costs involved in the process, but we want to help get this done as inexpensively as possible!

Lyons Update

We continue to press on here in Lyons.  Here's a quick update per house:

Joe Meckle's-ordered base and case for custom finish and install, should be here next week.  Working on electric trim and some plumbing.

Brian Schey's-almost finished with electric rough-in, plumbing to start soon. Windows, doors and warm board floor is next so we can get inspections and start insulation.  Need to finish some cement forms soon in order to tag on with another job by a local cement company to save some money/labor. We will NEED EXPERIENCED DRYWALL HANGERS and finishers to help with this project soon!

Tom & Michele Leonard's-There's an issue with the boiler system, pray that the Lord provides in amazing ways, getting looked at next week. Need gas heat connected as electric heaters are expensive to run!   Plumbing needs to be trimmed and doors/casinig and normal punch list items. Trying to get them home by the end of the month.

Doug Miller's-helping with minor framing and finishing for electric rough-in. Ready for insulation and then sheetrock beginning next week. Most of his work is being done by contractors, not sure how much more we'll be helping him, mostly just small things here and there until we leave.

Linda & Ray's-They've secured financing and hired a contractor to handle most of the build. We'll be helping Dave Orbeck with the plumbing rough-in after we do Brian's.

Prayer Requests

Janet, whose husband Dave is doing all of the plumbing labor for free, was diagnosed with several types of cancer in December. This is her second round in the past few years. She did radiation and is currently undergoing chemo. The prognosis is good.  Sunday she got dizzy and fell and was taken to the hospital and they discovered that she has blood clots in her lungs.  She is expected to be home soon and will have home health care. Please pray that they'd be drawn to Christ and for healing as The LORD wills.

Dana, who has been our volunteer electrical overseer and who is doing the major electrical work for most of these homes, just lost his mom to cancer. This happened quickly and was unexpected. Between his full time job, his wife and kids, and dealing with his mom's passing, he's had a lot to deal with on top of volunteering! Please keep this family in your prayers that they'd be drawn to The LORD.

Brian's parents are also going through a lot of health issues and he has asked for prayer for them.  Please also pray that they'd be drawn to The LORD.

Some of these homeowners are still short funds to finish their homes and get moved back in to their homes after 3 1/2 years.

We need a team of experienced drywall hangers and finishers to come --probably in April-- to drywall Brian's.

We can use one or two volunteers most days to help with whatever we happen to be doing that day. More important than construction skills or experience is just a willingness to help and the ability to clearly listen and follow directions.  We are supposed to get a friend of our ministry friend, Duane Drost from Bless You, Inc, in on Monday for 2 weeks to help us.  He's going through a few rough things back home so pray our time will be a good time of discipleship together.

I've managed to hurt my shoulder, back, and knee lately plus I have a hernia that from time to time rears it's ugly head. None of these things are pleasant to have with all the work that I'm always doing. I'm doing several things to help with my back and shoulder, and my knee is close to being healed. The hernia thing is what it is and I will more than likely need surgery on it at some point but not wanting to jump into that anytime soon as it is just a small thing. Please pray for healing for me in all of these areas.

This limits my time actually working on homes, but I'm still trying to be in the field 4 or 5 days a week. Our time here is coming to an end as these homes get finished. If all continues as it is, we're hoping to finish everything sometime in April. This of course depends on how much help and how much money comes in to keep things moving! Please pray that we'd get the help and funds necessary to get this all done soon! If you're interested in helping via volunteering or donations, please let us know!

Pray that we'd finish well. At some point before we leave, I'll be speaking at church and inviting all these folks we've been serving with and for. Pray that The LORD would already be softening and continue to soften their hearts and that the seeds that have been planted would continue to take root and one day soon God would bring the increase!

Once the work is finished, we have several things that we need to finish on our 5th wheel before we can move on to the next thing. At that point, we'll be open to see what The LORD has for us next. If nothing new comes up, we'll plug in to something that has already happened. Please pray for The LORD's direction for us!

Our Time In CO Is Drawing To A Close

If you're in the CO area and would like us to visit your church and share, or want to have us over for a home fellowship, dinner, etc, please contact us soon. Our deployment here will be done before you know it and once we finish up, we'll be headed out and not sure when we'll be back in the area!

We are so thankful for all of your prayers and support as we continue to be Jesus' Hands and Feet to those affected by disasters! Please let us know if there is anything that we can keep in prayer for you!
