Spring has reached Japan, which means soon the parks will be lined with people enjoying the beauty of blossoming cherry, plum and other colourful flowers. Have you had a chance to experience this for yourself?

The above photo is of a weeping cherry tree at Asuwa shrine located in Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture. When the cherry blossoms begin to bloom, they are lit up in illumination displays at night allowing everyone to enjoy a fantastic atmosphere.
