Sunday’s popular free Family Fun Day will include Brainiac Live, the Robin Hood’s Magical Adventure, BBC Introducing in the East Midlands, and a brilliant jazz, and swing line-up.
Organisers Liz Hobbs Group are poised for the busiest weekend yet, having implemented several significant additions and improvements to the festival site, which coupled with a stellar artist line-up, are seeing ticket sales fly.
“We have listened to the constructive feedback we have received from previous festival-goers, and have re-designed the site to deliver a brand-new festival layout, offering much more space”, said Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE, CEO of the Liz Hobbs Group. Adding “We will be increasing bar and rest room facilities and introducing enhanced visibility of the stage with screens, a dedicated area for those wishing to bring folding chairs and a Food Village with a broader diversity of food concessions.”
This year will also see earlier opening hours on the Saturday to allow for extended performances, and for the first time, Water’s Edge Premier Enclosure tickets are available, enhancing the experience with some luxury treats in a special reserved area, including welcome glass of Prosecco, canapes, goody bag, luxury rest rooms, a private paid bar and BBQ. Plus, on the Saturday Eden Hall Day Spa will be on hand with some pampering.
“You can purchase your tickets or find out more about accessing the festival, and what’s in store over the weekend from our website” says Liz “Go to www.newarkfestival.co.uk and be sure to join us. It promises to be brilliant fun.”
