Dear Sisters, Associates and Sojourners,

The first 100 days of our collaborative advocacy work on behalf of the environment will culminate in a massive march on April 29th in Washington DC., with other Marches being planned.

We are also invited to join our indigenous brothers and sisters in PRAYER while they join in the "Native Nations March," at the Army Corps of Engineers HQ, in D.C., on March 10th at 10 am (EST/9CST). Please plan to set aside some time.

Lancaster Against the Pipeline's (LAP) resolve to take nonviolent action to stop the Atlantic Sunrise pipeline is only strengthened, even in the midst of setbacks. Just today, LAP found out that Brookfield Renewable, which owns a parcel of land immediately adjacent to a federally recognized Susquehannock Indian cemetery along the Conestoga River, hurriedly gave Williams permission to install the pipeline through their land—and, in turn, a sacred Native burial site. Tomorrow, leaders of Lancaster Against Pipelines will join local indigenous leaders from the Circle Legacy Center and the Lancaster American Indian Movement for a press conference at The Stand. Please join in prayer for a meaning presence to gather in safety and with RESILIENCE! It is scheduled for 10 am (EST).

Speaking of RESILIENCE:  For your educational endeavors, you might like to read about the Stockholm Resilience Center and their multi-faceted projects (click here). These are excellent and expansive in their scope. Many topics to explore! Resilience thinking in relation to the environment has emerged as a lens of inquiry that serves a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. Resilience is about cultivating the capacity to sustain development in the face of expected and surprising change and diverse pathways of development and potential thresholds between them.

Of course, there is no end to the end to stay focused on calling our Congressional Leaders and voicing our concerns regarding ethical violations, blatant disregard for those struggling for a living wage, a meaningful healthcare option and good education!  See all the USCCB's/Justice for Immigrants for learning more about how we can be supportive of the rights of immigrants: All poverty directed programs are working and lobbying with great determination to stave off the 2018 Fiscal Budget predictions to slash social service programs for the underserved.

Blessings,
Sara
