2017 Textile Drive Pick Up, Sunday, March 12,

10:30am-12:30pm

Once again, RUFC is collecting your used household textiles including clothes, sheets, towels, stuffed animals, shoes, belts, and more! Bring all your donations to 941 Wiladonda Drive, LCF on or before Sunday, March 11 at 11:00am.

The more weight we collect the more $$ we raise! Donated items are given to local kids or recycled through Clothes for a Cause. Last year we collected 5,000 lbs! Let's beat our record!

Join RUFC's 2017 Youth Development Camp

RUFC Camp is a life-changing experience for all involved - especially volunteers. Spend 5 days immersed with rural youth teaching and learning about health, citizenship, leadership and, of course, soccer! It's safe, it's fun, and it's meaningful.

2017 Youth Vision Trip

RUFC hosted its first Youth Vision Trip February 16-26. The remarkable trip involved visits to rural health clinics and schools, community service activities, youth exchange, rural home stays (mud huts!), and a spectacular safari!

School Club Grants Awarded

In 2016, RUFC school clubs were launched and encouraged to apply for small grants to carry out a student-led health project. Two schools were awarded a grant and participants in the 2017 Youth Vision Trip visited both schools to launch their new projects.

Student Sponsorship

Providing educational opportunities is the greatest investment we can make in helping Ugandan youth achieve success. RUFC is now providing scholarships to 9 students, allowing them to in stay in school and reach their potential.
