Your Support Makes a Difference...Teacher & Staff Wish List

PTO funds enable us to purchase many items on the Crow Island Teacher and Staff annual wish list.  These items are generally things that will enhance learning opportunities for the students, beyond core curriculum.

SMART Boards - SMART Board technology has arrived at good old Crow Island. A SMART Board is an interactive whiteboard that allows you to project an image and 'interact' with it by writing on it or moving it around. The SMART Board is connected to a computer and works with a projector. Key benefits include:
  • Keeps students engaged with hands on learning - they are great for visual and tactile learners.
  • Low maintenance - no chalk or erasers.
  • Access to online resources
  • Environmentally Friendly - reduces the amount of worksheets and papers
  • Allow for technology integration - they can be attached to computers, projectors, video cameras, microscopes, the list goes on and on!
It's your generosity that makes these gifts possible. Thank you for making Crow Island 'the best school ever made'.

Lost And Found

Missing Something? On Wednesday, March 15, the Lost and Found tables will be set up in the Crow Island foyer during the Spring Sing. Please stop by and collect any items that your child may have left behind during the school year. For any questions, please contact Sara Kirkpatrick at kirkpatrick1103@comcast.net.
