The 2017 Atlanta Rollergirls battle it out in back-to-back home team bouts in the continued quest for derby domination. The next time you'll see all four home teams play on one night will be during playoffs in July- so make sure to get your fill of these roller-skating rivals. Here to fill you in on the action so far is AbracaJabYa. Are you ready for this tussle on the track?
Bout 1: Toxic Shocks vs. Denim Demons @ 5:00 PM

Our first bout is between lightning bolts and monsters - the Shocks and the Demons. In the season opener, the Toxic Shocks had a win against the Sake Tuyas - an electrifying performance they're sure to try to repeat. It won't be easy; the Demons are out for blood, trying to make their mark on the 2017 season.
Keep an eye out for some of the most devilish of the demons: Erykah Ba-Doozie, blocker, and Human Missile Crisis, jammer. From the ToxicShocks, you can expect some extra voltage from jammers Afro Dykee and Instant Karma, as well as blockers Owl B. Merciless and Eiffel Power.
Bout 2: Sake Tuyas vs. Apocalypstix @ 7:30 PM

The second bout of the evening is between two teams that don't give up easily. The Apocalypstix won their season opening game back in January against the Denim Demons- will they be able to defend their victory against a new rival? Or are the Sake Tuyas ready to seal in their own success? Keep an eye out for the quick-scoring jammers on both teams: Revelyn Sin and Dr. Evil on the Sake Tuyas against Trouble MakeHer and Hermione Danger on the Apocalypstix. And don't forget the blockers that knock them down, especially LuxFurious on the Sakes and The Ruffian and Queen Loseyateefa on the Stix.
 
 
The battle begins Saturday, March 25th. Doors open at 4PM: first game is at 5PM, second is at 7:30PM. Tickets are available online or at the door (though they might sell out!). BYOB (no glass, please) and come hungry because we'll have some delicious food trucks and vendors out in the courtyard. Halftime band is Crabhammer. We can't wait to see you there!
