MDE Looking Ahead

When we wrapped up 2016, we did a quick look back at the work God had done and begun throughout the year. Now, two months into 2017, we see that he has gone before MDE in continuing the work for us this year. Through prayer and input from many individuals, we have set several goals for 2017.

Tentmaking Division
Just a few weeks ago, we rolled out our Opportunities Portal. We'll share opportunities here, whether it's jobs abroad or ways people can get involved stateside. At the end of 2016, we had 14 tentmakers. The goal for this year is to bring in three new tentmakers every month. Can you help us reach this goal?

BAM Division
At the moment, we have ten BAM ventures, and another half dozen in the pipeline. It’s only March, but we’re already more than half-way to our 2017 goal for new BAM ventures. This has been one of our fastest growing areas, and we need your help to meet their needs!

Do you know how to develop:

Marketing plans?
Business plans?
Websites?
IT support?

Or you could use your experience in:

Legal set-up
Finding investors
Raising capital

Help one of our members in an area that ties to your experiences, passions, and network. What piques your interest?

2017 promises to be an exciting year for MDE and you can be part of what God is doing! Pray with us and ask how you can get involved; we are waiting to hear from you!

Referrals

As members of the body of Christ, we know that none of us can do God’s work by ourselves. We need each other to complete the commission that Jesus gave us, his followers. MDE has many ways that you, your church, school, and ministry group can be part of fulfilling the Great Commission. A few simple steps are:

Volunteer as a mentor—one hour a month to help a tentmaker on his or her journey
Volunteer as a BAM Advisor—do you know a thing or two about starting, managing, or developing a business?

MDE BAM ventures are in many countries in diverse industries. Our BAM ventures include IDI in Spain (scuba diving), a company in Italy (web development), Narrow Gate in Thailand (goat dairy farm), and even a coffee roasting franchise.
