Get your tickets for Paint Nite!

Join Regina Cat Rescue for the purr-fect night out! Our second Paint Nite of the year combines creativity, conversation, cocktails and cats. For this event, we'll be painting the fun 'Bohemian Cat-Sody' image (pictured right). All the supplies and instruction are provided, food and drinks are available for purchase, and the proceeds support RCR! It all goes down on Wednesday, March 22 at Beer Bros (1821 Scarth Street, Regina) at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 each and available here - we'll see you there!

Bushwakker Steak Night

Join RCR for an evening of delicious food and superb beer at the Bushwakker Brewpub in support of Regina's abandoned cats and kittens. Tickets are $25 each and include a choice of a 6 oz AAA steak, chicken breast or veggie burger, a choice of any 12 oz Bushwakker beer, plus hand-cut fries, caesar salad and garlic toast. We'll also have a silent auction, 50/50 draw and a liquor basket. Email us to get your tickets today! Sorry, no minors.

Meet Morris!

This month’s feature cat is Morris! This super sweet fella loves all kinds of affection. He's even been known to leap into a nearby human's arms to get some attention. If you've got lots of love to give, Morris is the cutie for you you!

RCR's Annual General Meeting

Interested in learning the ins and outs of Regina Cat Rescue? Join RCR's board of directors and members at the 2017 AGM on April 22 at 1 p.m. at the Cathedral Village Community Centre (2900 13th Ave). Only members are eligible to vote so buy your membership by March 23 in order to participate. All the materials for the AGM will be posted in the governance section on our website ahead of the meeting. If you have any proposed bylaw amendments or nominations for the board of directors, please email them to us by March 23.

March's Metro Cat

Thanks to Metro Pet Market for Spaying It Forward! This month, Metro paid for Bijou’s spay surgery as part of their on-going mission to foster responsible pet guardianship. Bijou was found last fall in a garage with her kittens, who have all been adopted. Now she's spayed and ready for her forever home! Forever homes found. A total of 30 cats found their forever homes in February.

Thank You! Thanks to the Saskatchewan Music Collector Vinyl Show for donating the proceeds from their event to RCR which resulted in a $450 donation to help Regina's cats in need.

Thanks, Trinos! A big thanks to Trinos Menswear for including RCR in their Month of Love promotion. They raised over $1,700 and collected many cat and dog related items for RCR and CC RezQs!

Five Guys fundraiser

Visit Five Guys on March 14 between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. and 20 per cent of your purchase will be donated to Regina Cat Rescue! This fundraiser is available at Five Guys East (2531 Quance Street East, Regina) and Five Guys South (4666 Gordon Road, Regina). Remember to tell the cashier your order is to support Regina Cat Rescue.

Photo of the Month! We're happy to share that Geoffrey's rescue story has a very happy ending. He was adopted into a local nursing home where the residents shower him with all the love and attention he can handle! In return, he provides companionship and excellent moral support to the residents while they're treated for various ailments.
