NEWSLETTER SPRING BREAK

Just a quick note to let you know that the next new issue of the Politics Guys newsletter will come out on Sunday, March 19. Why the break? I'm knee-deep in midterm grading, after which I'm taking a brief respite to recharge and revitalize.

We'll still have new episodes of The Politics Guys podcast during this newsletter hiatus, posting at the usual times. On Wednesday, it will be my interview with Steve Hilton, director of strategy for former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, current Fox News commentator, and founder of Crowdpac, an innovative political web resource that makes it easier for people to learn about politicians, find and support candidates who match their beliefs, and even run for office. Steve is also the author of More Human: Designing a World Where People Come First.

On Sunday, the Politics Guys weekly news roundup will feature Jay and special guest co-host Joe, who you all know as the author of the newsletter's 'subversive, pro-Trump counter-narrative'.

If you want a preview of what to expect from Joe, check out my interview with him from October, when all the 'smart people' (including Jay and me) thought that Donald Trump would not only lose the election, but most likely be obliterated by Hillary Clinton. Joe disagreed, and as we all know he was proven right.

Mike is the founder and co-host of The Politics Guys. He's an Associate Professor of Political Science at Northern Kentucky University, specializing in American politics, public policy, and media. He's the author of Navigating the News: A Political Media User's Guide, which he thinks is a really useful book, though he wishes his publisher would set a lower price for it. He's also a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan, though he reluctantly admits that, for most of the last decade and a half, the New England Patriots have been better than his team.
