  • Showcases young people’s voices and perspectives.
  • Supports extraordinary young people who have a powerful voice through monetary awards and ongoing support.
  • Connects young filmmakers with the larger film-making community, to ensure that they can continue their work long after the festival is over.

Join Our World TB Day March!
Breathe California was founded in 1908 as the San Francisco Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis, the number one killer at the time, and spent the first half of the 20th century focused on education, advocacy and research to help lower the city’s TB rates by over 60%.

California reported 2,000 cases of tuberculosis in 2014 – more than any other state. Breathe California remains vigilant against the threat. This year we will march in San Francisco to spread public awareness about tuberculosis. Will you join us? Learn More.
