Canadian Blood Services has contacted the Chapter office with the news that they will no longer be providing insulated shipping containers for products being picked up at the Winnipeg site. A notification letter should be arriving at the homes of those on home management, soon. The change will commence on April 1, 2017. If you have any empty insulated shipping containers at home, please return them to 777 William Ave.

The CHS will be sponsoring three individuals from each chapter, including the Chapter's National representative, to participate in the Advocacy track of the Community Engagement Workshops taking place in conjunction with Rendez-vous, on Saturday, May 27 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. 
The CHS-MC Board of Directors is welcoming Chapter members who are interested in taking the training, to submit a letter describing their interest and how they would use this training, to benefit the Manitoba membership. Letters can be sent to info@hemophiliamb.ca or mailed into the office.

There is an opportunity for Chapter members between the age of 18 and 30 to be sponsored to attend the CHS Rendez-Vous in Toronto this coming May. It is a chance to meet young adults with inherited bleeding disorders from across Canada. There is an obligation to attend the entire meeting and all the workshops. The Chapter's Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 19th. The office doors will open at 6:30 pm for refreshments and the meeting will begin at 7:00 pm.

The 2017 dates for Family Camp at Luther Village will be July 16th to the 22nd. Registration will open on Monday April 3rd at 9:30 am.
