50th Anniversary of the Kerner Commission Report
In 1967, President Lyndon Johnson established a commission to investigate the causes of successive summers of racial violence. The Russell Sage Foundation is soliciting articles that revisit the Kerner Commission report and consider its implications for the present day. Proposals are due by March 30, 2017.
