New Jewish Museum of Maryland Exhibit

"Just Married! Wedding Stories from Jewish Maryland"

Jewish Museum of MD: Jewish weddings exhibitJQ Baltimore is happy to endorse the JMM’s upcoming exhibit about Jewish weddings in Maryland which will include same sex weddings! Let's try to help them out:

The Jewish Museum of Maryland's Just Married! Wedding Stories from Jewish Maryland exhibit, set to open summer 2017, will include an online gallery of photos and invitations from as many Maryland Jewish weddings (however you define Jewish), past and present, as possible. Help them make sure that both the physical and online exhibits represent the full spectrum of Jewish weddings in Maryland! Check out the link to the photo/invitation project or contact the exhibit curator Joanna Church to find out more.

Jordan Schwartz, A Wider Bridge’s mid-Atlantic regional coordinator, seeks several partners to help build AWB’s Baltimore presence. An ideal partner will be:
1) A strong supporter of Israel
2) A strong advocate for LGBTQ rights
3) Involved with their local Jewish and/or with their local LGBTQ community

You do not need to be LGBTQ to get involved with AWB’s work, and they welcome people from all religions and political affiliations. For more information or to get involved, please contact Jordan at jordan@awiderbridge.org.
