Why Entering Award Competitions is Good for Business

Let’s face it, everyone wants to be, or work for, a winner. No matter the size or type of your organization, you can enter a business or industry award competition. There are all kinds of awards from local to national, industry-based and those for certain types of projects or individuals.

Cooksey can help you determine which competitions to enter, and we frequently assist clients in preparing and submitting winning entries. We've recently assisted clients with nominations for the Dallas Business Journal’s 2017 Minority Business Leader Awards, the Dallas Business Journal’s 25th Annual Best Real Estate Deals,
D CEO Magazine’s 2017 Commercial Real Estate Awards, D CEO Magazine’s 2017 Financial Executives Awards, the Best Companies to Work for in Texas and the Fort Worth Business Press 2017 Forty Under Forty Awards.

You can find more insights in our recent blog post, “Award-Winning Nominations Worth the Effort,” in which Cooksey Communications' Vice President and Account Manager Michelle Hargis gives four compelling reasons to enter award programs.
