Just a short reminder: the Marché du Film/Film Market early bird deadline is May 2, 2017. The price is EUR282.50 (not inc. VAT), compared to the walk-in price of EUR332.50.

That's a saving of EUR50, which is nice but not huge. For me, the real benefit of booking early is that it gives you more time to plan ahead. You can more thoroughly map out your time in Cannes by organising meetings and screenings.

Plus, something like 20% of people attending the Cannes Film Festival will do so for the first time. Personally, I like checking the database for new players. So the earlier you start, the more people you will connect with.

And most importantly, you are giving yourself the opportunity to book a meeting with the people you need to meet before their schedules are full.
