New School Music SLA for 2017-18
|
|
The updated 2017-18 Service Level Agreement (SLA) for schools is now available online HERE. In order to better prepare for all aspects of TBMH traded work with, and in schools, we need to receive all provision requests from schools by Friday 26th March 2017.
|

Where possible schools are asked to let us know the answers to the following questions:
1. Would your school like to be a School Partner for £100 to access the full FREE CPD offer and discounted events programme? YES / NO
2. Would your school like to buy-in any small group instrumental/vocal teaching at £39ph? YES / NO
3. Would your school like to buy-in TBMH groove ‘n’ play programmes? YES / NO
|
4. Would your school like to request any bespoke school support for the curriculum at £400 per day or pro rata? YES / NO
5. Would your school like to register their interest in participating in any of the performance events next academic year?

Infant Voices Festival 2017
Playgrounds Around the World
Our first ever Infant Voices Festival concert at Hammersmith Town Hall, with a massed choir of 300 Key Stage 1 children from twelve Tri-borough primary schools, accompanied by professional folk band Tir Eolas, and a performance by our new Key Stage 1 Choir Little Singers.

Tri-borough Youth Orchestra in Concert - 25th March
|
|
2.30 - 3.30pm, Latymer Upper School
The Tri-borough Youth Orchestra perform their Spring concert in the Main Hall at Latymer Upper School, from 2 - 3pm.
Come and be inspired by the sounds of this new orchestra, in its second year.
|
Programme includes:
Dvorak: 9th Symphony (The New World) 1st and 4th movements
Gershwin: Rhapsody in Blue
Dhondy: Bleary Jaunt at Dawn
|

Entry to the concert is free, but audience limited to 150.

Tri-Music Together EYFS Project

Canela Fina! leads flamenco and salsa workshops that are linked to the music curriculum for primary and secondary schools. Sullivan, Latymer Upper and Gateway Primary school have loved what we do, so what are you waiting for?

We start with a high-quality live guitar and cajón performance and then do a presentation about great musicians and traditional music from Spain or Cuba.

Folk Up North:
Key Stage 1 Schools Concert
This concert will delve into exciting and notorious stories, and explore how the unique Scottish landscape influences its music.
Cost: £3.50

N/R/Yr1 weekly music project with a focus on speech, language and communication skills.
A Sound Start is Creative Futures’ flagship Early Years programme, focusing on developing and enhancing children’s speech, language & communication skills through music.
|
|
|
|
Pupils are introduced to the history of music and learn about syncopation, stress and speed applied to flamenco rhythms. Our musicians can work on vocal aspects doing chorus, performing recital from memory, playing cajón solos, dancing or doing body percussion all together.
|
|
John Lyon’s Charity: School Explorer Fund
Apply to receive funding to pay your travel costs to Wigmore Hall. The School Explorer Fund is open to all state primary schools and special schools (primary or secondary) in the Charity’s beneficial area.
|
|
The programme’s weekly in-school music workshops are led by professional musicians and utilising singing, instrumental work, storytelling, music & dance exercises.
|
|
|

Grants awarded under this fund are available to help schools access and take part in Arts activities such as visits to the theatre, a musical experience or to a museum or art gallery.
