Faith Radio Goes to 2017 NRB

Members of the Faith Radio team attended the 2017 National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida. Faith Radio and The Meeting House had the opportunity to meet and talk with influential Christian speakers, authors, and more at our broadcast center in the exhibit hall.

Two significant areas included music and movies:

In the MOVIE area...

Noted Christian apologist Lee Strobel and his wife, Leslie, discussed the upcoming movie, The Case for Christ, depicting their spiritual journeys.

T.C. Stallings, the lead actor in War Room, shared about his role in his latest movie, A Question of Faith.

In the realm of MUSIC...

Before musical group Selah opened the NRB worship service, they spoke with Bob Crittenden about a number of topics, including their new album, Unbreakable.

Singer-songwriter and worship leader Laura Story was part of the NRB closing dinner event and stopped by to talk about God's work in her life, including the release of her new project Open Hands.

Blessings of Supporting God's Work

NRB provided many informational sessions to help us better serve God through our ministry at Faith Radio. We were encouraged and reminded of the importance of sharing the Gospel NOW!  Three things to share from the convention:

  1. God owns it ALL… everything we have is HIS; we are simply stewards of what we have. (see Psalm 24:1)
  2. There are tremendous blessings in giving. (see Luke 6:38 / 2 Corinthians 9:10)
  3. Now is the time to BE BOLD in sharing our faith in Jesus Christ. Faith Radio is a tremendous outlet for you to share Christ with your community each day.
    (see 2 Corinthians 3:11-12 / 2 Corinthians 6:2)

Will you be our partner in BOLDLY sharing the message of JESUS CHRIST with your neighbors?  Your financial support is much needed and appreciated as together we cover our community with God’s Word through song and Bible teaching.

We saw Dr. Tony Evans at NRB, and he lead our worship service that included other Christian Broadcasters and many of the programmers you hear each day on Faith Radio.

“One of the major problems leading to the breakdown of society is that we have far too many opinions dictating life choices and not enough truth mandating them.”
Tony Evans, The Alternative, heard weekdays at 9:30am.
