Kentucky Derby – Lakers Style!
Thanks to everyone who made the 2017 Laker Legends Scholarship Gala such a great success. The capacity crowd of alumni, parents and other friends, plus the room full of roses and great music made for a fun evening. Many got into the theme with elaborate hats and bow ties. One attendee even brought his own horse, (thanks Mr. Cooney!).
Deserving students and their families will be helped thanks to the scholarship money raised through the generosity of guests and sponsors.
We once again congratulate our 2017 Laker Legends pictured here l to r: Judy Zimmerman Rosatti ’80 - Distinguished Alumni Award for Service, accepting the Laker Legend Philanthropy Award for Louise Hufstader Courtelis ’50 and Kiki Courtelis was former MPS president, Sr. Mary Ann Bader, RSM, Honorary Alumna ‘13, Major David Matteson, M.D, M.S. ’01 – Distinguished Alumni Award for Career, Dr. Jamie Borowicz - Mercy Award, and Tom Guelcher - Honorary Alumnus.
