Site tour - Yarrabilba
Sustainable living is on the rise and it's arrived in South East Queensland

It's an exciting time for the sunshine state as Green Star communities are beginning to take form. One of the latest projects underway is Yarrabilba - and you're invited to take a look around to see how sustainable living is shaping Queensland's future.

Just five years into its 30 year transformation, Yarrabilba will one day be home to over 45,000 residents in 17,000 dwellings - all while targeting a 6 Star Green Star — Communities rating.

Yarrabilba is being built on a host of sustainable initiatives including reduced energy and water consumption through recycled water for irrigation, water storage devices for the on-site collection of construction water and energy saving LED street lights.

Around a quarter of the site is also made up of nature sanctuaries, sporting fields and parkland making it a winner for social and environmental sustainability.
