Virginia native MARIE MILLER has announced her debut album Letterbox, which will be released April 28 through Curb Records. Pre-orders for the album begin today via http://flyt.it/Letterbox, where fans can get instant downloads for three tracks off the album; “Glitter Gold”, “Lost At Sea”, and Miller’s previously released hit single “This Side Of Paradise”. PopDust debuted the announcement and premiered the singles “Glitter Gold” and “Lost At Sea”, noting that the tracks “firmly [solidify] her place as a songwriter of maturity and resonant emotional power.”

“So excited to share this brand new music,” Marie exclaims. “It's been a labor of love, and I couldn't be happier that it will now be out in the world.”

Within Letterbox’s 12 tracks, Marie Miller has committed to artistic growth, continuing her heartfelt approach to songwriting while featuring a larger, fuller arrangement to surround her emotive vocals, equally adept at conveying the vibrantly empowered (“The Next Best Thing”) and uninhibited vulnerable (“Lost at Sea”) sides of her stories. Working with producers Eric Rosse (Sara Bareilles, Tory Amos, & Mary Lambert) and Chad Copelin
(Ben Rector, Sufjan Stevens & Christina Perri), Miller moved decisively into a new creative milieu with Letterbox. At a time where much of art, industry, culture, and society has unfortunately become so shamelessly self-satisfied with rehashes, reboots, vapid virality, and slogan-centric chest-pounding, Miller brings a refreshing sense of earnestness and humanity to her platform.

American Songwriter noted that, "Miller whittles that folk-pop sound into something sharp and melodic." While VH1 noted her her uncanny ability to write an, "irresistibly bouncy and bubbly song."

Before she performed for the likes of Pope Francis and won the 2014 Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star Competition, Marie Miller grew up on a vineyard in the Shenandoah valley of Virginia with her nine other siblings, fully engrossed in the wonders of literature from the minds of Dostoyevsky,
Tolstoy and Homer. Writers have brought much inspiration to Miller, which helped plant a seed to her own songwriting at a young age, inspired by the relationships in the stories she cherished, as well as the observations in her own life. Quickly picking up the mandolin and guitar to compliment her songwriting she honed her skills and at the ripe age of 16, she was signed to Curb Records. Since then has released two EP’s, Marie Miller (2006), and You’re Not Alone (2013), toured the country, and risen significantly in radio charts. Miller’s 2013 single “You’re Not Alone” charted at #1 on Billboard Christian Hot AC/CHR Charts and reached 115,000 downloads on Amazon’s Rising Star Program.

Marie Miller is available for interviews and Letterbox is available for review upon request.
