Jessie has been participating in Unified Special Olympics for 4 years now, and I think it's been the single most positive experience she has had in regards to inclusion.  The athletes and partners have created bonds on the court, friendships have blossomed off the court. 
 
Thanks to a dedicated teacher who believes in the program, the team has grown every year and communities that have historically been labeled separately as 'typical' and ' disabled' are now becoming a unified community.  As the Unified Special Olympics motto says - 'changing the world is a contact sport - game on'.
