The de Lancellotti family did not start out as a winemaking family, but “mornings turned into evenings” type of days out in the vineyards, season through season, has led them to become one. They are rooted in building from the ground up, with their first vineyard panted in 1998, then the creation of Bergstrom Wines in 1999 and next, the planting of their own vineyard. The experience gained in these early years led them to create their own brand, de Lancellotti Family Vineyards in 2005.
The beginning years opened their eyes to biodynamic farming, a holistic practice of farming used for generations in the premiere vineyards around the world, but one that is largely misunderstood until you have a spent a lifetime in vineyards. Attention to detail starts in a farm. “The peers we respect most in this industry are those farmer’s who’s mindset is rooted in the health of our planet.”
Today, de Lancellotti wines are a result of fruit sourced from some of the finest vineyards in Oregon, hand selected and intentionally farmed throughout the year.
“Simply put, farming great vineyards and sourcing the finest pinot noir and chardonnay is our passion.” - Paul de Lancellotti
