Do you want to contribute to corporate partner activities in CEMS or do you dream of pulling off a highlight event of the CEMS year such as the Career Forum in Budapest or the CEMS Graduation Ceremony 2017?

The CEMS Head Office, located in Jouy-en-Josas (Paris) in France, is looking to recruit two interns to assist with the two event highlights of the year - the Career Forum and the Annual Events.

1. CEMS Career Forum Intern
 
Period: June-November 2017
Pay: 1000 euros / month
Deadline for application: Rolling application, no later than 31 March, 2017.
 
The main mission would be to support the activities of the Corporate Relations team in the CEMS Head Office, in particular for the planning and execution of our CEMS Career Forum taking place in Budapest, Hungary, with over 1500 participants.
 
Your main missions:

  • To facilitate the organization of the 2-day CEMS Career Forum that comprises a number of networking events, workshops and job fair
  • Managing online event presence on the web and social media
  • Edition of the event communication materials (newsletter, brochures etc.)
  • Assisting the organisation of and registration to the skill seminars, company presentations and pre-scheduled interviews via a dedicated database
  • Communication with CEMS students, alumni and corporate partners 
  • Operational assistance during the event (travel to Budapest, Hungary)
  • Evaluations, statistics & follow-up

Your profile:

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Business background with interest/experience in event management / marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team-work spirit, flexibility, international mind-set, service-minded
  • Stress resistance, excellent problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Hungarian would be an asset for the Intern position (but not required)

2. CEMS Annual Events Intern

Period: June/July-December 2017
Pay: 1000 euros / month
Deadline for application: rolling application, but not later than May 1st, 2017
Please mention the dates of your availability when responding.

The main mission would be to support the activities of the CEMS Stakeholder Engagement & Events.  This role consists of working closely on an ongoing basis with key stakeholders in the CEMS environment and members of HO to ensure that we share ideas and develop plans in parallel fostering inclusion, innovation, continuity and guidelines.  These partners are primarily: internally, Alumni, Student Board, CEMS Clubs, Faculty Groups (targeted) and when relevant, Corporate Partners.

The Intern will work with the Stakeholder Engagement & Events Manager on many diverse projects.

Main tasks will include:
  • Special organisation focus on the CEMS Annual Events & Asia Pacific Forum (November 27 – December 1, Sydney -2017) and the Alumni Directors meeting (Budapest, November 2017)
  • Cooperating with the event host, and coordinating content between host and Head Office team
  • Planning logistics and event details for meetings, catering, social events etc.
  • Overseeing registration issues and handling FAQs from participants
  • Support during the execution of the events in Budapest & Sydney (travel not included)
  • A supportive role in other projects carried out by the Stakeholder Engagement Manager at the HO, as time allows.

Your profile:

  • Excellent command of )the English language, both written and spoken
  • A self starter with interest/experience in event management / communication / marketing
  • Excellent listening & communication skills
  • Team-work spirit, autonomy, flexibility, international mindset, creativity
  • Stress resistance, problem solving skills
  • Available for travel (TBC)
  • CEMS background or a good knowledge of CEMS is an advantage
