NHS England – corrections to Quality Payments guide

NHS England has replaced the Quality Payments guide on its website with a new version due to an error in the original version. If you downloaded a copy of the original version, then you need to replace it with the new version so you have the correct information on how to upload the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire to NHS Choices.

How prepared do you feel for claiming the first Quality Payments on 28th April? Have you got the information & resources you need from Greater Manchester LPC and other sources (e.g. PSNC, NPA, CCA, AIMp)? Please complete this short survey to help us help you by highlighting any gaps or issues that you want us to focus on in resources for you. Take the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/GMLPC_QP

Quality Payments tips: Patient survey & NHS Choices

This week’s tip guide focuses on uploading your patient survey to NHS Choices – or your website if you’re a distance-selling pharmacy. It’s based on the corrected guidance from NHS England.

HLP Champion training: more dates announced

New HLP Champions training dates in Bury on 27th- 28th April.

This training has been arranged by both Bolton and GMLPC on behalf of Community Pharmacy contractors across Greater Manchester.

The quality criteria outlines what is required for achieving Healthy Living Pharmacy (HLP) Level 1 status.

One requirement of HLP is that each pharmacy has one member of staff who has completed the RSPH Level 2 Understanding Health Improvement course.

The course aims to enable participants to gain a better understanding and appreciation of how inequalities in health may develop and the current policies for addressing these. It will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of the principles of promoting health and well-being and equip you to support your customers in trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

There are limited places available.
