Jesse & Selinda (Ingalls) Van Horn are long-term missionaries with Global Partners and have served in southern Africa for the last 9 years. They have recently been reassigned by Global Partners to serve in Haiti and will be serving on the island of La Gonave in partnership with WISH (West Indies Self Help). WISH strives to provide a foundation for local Haitians to improve their living conditions through a wide variety of community service & construction projects. The needs in Haiti are great, but not hopeless. By helping communities grow and develop, it opens opportunities to share the love of Christ with people and point them to Him. They are humbled & excited to be able to serve and be a part of what God is doing on La Gonave in Haiti.
Specifically, Jesse will be helping with WISH projects and maintenance; mentoring & working with local Haitians. One project is the new solar electrical system. Selinda will be mentoring some of the WISH staff in the library and youth center as the programming builds in both of those facilities. She will also be helping out with the guesthouse.
Their goal is to be in Haiti this coming summer. In the mean time, they are traveling, sharing about their upcoming ministry, fundraising, as well as preparing for their upcoming term in Haiti. Would you considering partnering with them?
