"Introspective" - The Stranger A&P Quaterly

I am very honored to have been chosen for a solo show at the City of Seattle's Ethnic Heritage Gallery. This exhibition features an ALL NEW body of work incorporating 'intercultural' paintings that blend elements from my childhood, art training, and influences while extending my artistic practice in a new direction.

The show runs through April 10. Find it at the Seattle Municipal Tower (Thrid Floor) in Downtown Seattle (5th between Columbia and Cherry). Open during building hours Monday through Friday 8-6.

I recently did some very successful poetry workshops with 4th and 5th graders in Stevenson Elementary in Bellevue WA. Thanks to the Bellevue Schools Foundation for underwriting the event through teacher grants.

In other poetry news, my poem "Mt. Rainier" has been selected by Todd Marshall, the WA State Poet Laureate for inclusion in his upcoming signature project Washington 129, an "anthology of 129 poems gathered from Washingtonians meant to represent the 129 years (as of 2018) since Washington was admitted into the United States". Yay!
