Hey <<First Name>> - Last month I felt overwhelmed about the amount of painting I wanted to do for my show. But now that I see the light at the end of the tunnel, the panic is gone. I've learned so much more about painting by just painting. I can't wait to step back and to look at the paintings hanging in the gallery together.

I've been thinking about how much I love documenting the process of painting with my camera, so I've written this week about how helpful it is for an artist's development to take lots of photos. There are loads of reasons and I've listed 10 of mine. The camera is truly my personal assistant!

The opening still is 4 weeks away and I've got lots of work ahead.

I will be at the gallery with my paintings every afternoon from April 15 - April 23. I hope to create a mini-studio in the gallery and to continue painting. You are welcome to drop in and visit.
If there is interest, I'll set aside an afternoon for an informal acrylic workshop-by-donation. Please let me know if that interests you. flora@floradoehler.ca

Have a great week! -- Flora
