We will be traveling throughout Languedoc, the Midi-Pyrénées and the Dordogne Valley. We will visit fantastic villages such as La Couvertoirade, Sarlat and Saint Cirq Lapopie. We will taste cheese in Roquefort, tour the Gorges du Tarn, visit the old city of Rodez with its lovely cathedral and market, wine taste in Marcillac, explore the 11th-century Abbaye de Fontfroide, tour the fascinating cities of Albi and Cahors and the incredible cave system at Padirac.  We will also enjoy the architectural splendor of the fortified town of Carcassone and meander through the ancient trading port of Montpellier with an optional day trip to the picturesque village of St-Guilhem-le-Desert.
