Loop-Copy-Mutate: Nieuw project en concert serie!
Met Loop-Copy-Mutate: Music from People and Places werpt het Genetic Choir nieuw licht op wat wij stedelingen als vanzelfsprekend zijn gaan ervaren: stadsgeluid. Samen met laptopkunstenaar Robert van Heumen, programmeur Stelios Manousakis én het publiek onderzoekt het koor hoe stadsgeluiden, vertaald door de menselijke stem, muzikale composities kunnen worden.
16 april is er een try-out bij TAC in Eindhoven en 23 juni bij STEIM, Amsterdam. De premiere wordt een ondergronds concert: 2 juli, Noord-Zuidlijn Amsterdam CS. Save that date! Lees meer

Loop-Copy-Mutate: Music from People and Places is a year-long series of concerts. The Genetic Choir will direct your ears towards something urbanites often take for granted: city sounds. Together with laptop artist Robert van Heumen, programmer Stelios Manousakis, and the public, the choir will transform city sounds into voice and music compositions. 16 april a try-out at TAC Eindhoven, 23 June at STEIM.
