Palm (Fern) Sunday is April 9! Last year, 21 children and adults helped lead worship on Palm Sunday. Would you or someone in your family like to participate this year? Contact Katie Pate at pastor@milwaukiepres.org or 503.654.7782 to sign up. Why Fern Sunday? Palm frond collection can damage fragile rainforest ecosystems. In ancient Jerusalem palms were on hand, here we have an abundance of ferns. Members of our congregation bring fern fronds from their gardens to help celebrate Palm Sunday.
